And CUTTTTT!

Tying in with my last post, sometimes I wake up and I think I am the main character in a movie. The only difference is that I don't get to do retakes. Once I fuck up a scene, that's it, I'm stuck with it as the first and final scene. The other big problem is that none of the scenes that I don't like could ever end up on the editing floor. They all make it into the show.

Now don't get me wrong, there are plenty of good scenes. But there's another problem with that. I am not the director of my own show, I don't know who is, but whoever it is, he/she is not letting me pause in those fabulous scenes. More importantly sometimes I want to re-take those scenes to re-do them the same exact way. There is one scene that up to this point in my life is by far the best, and I do relive it over and over it in my head. Sadly, it's a total cliché: boy and girl, holding hands, walking around Paris on a perfect summer night, then holding each other with the nicely lit Eiffel Tower in the background. I don't know what I did to be able to get that into my movie, but as much as I thought before that it's such a typical sickening AWWWWW moment, I have to admit, it was wonderful. For some reason I am thinking more and more about it lately, mainly because in about a week or so, it will be exactly two years since that happened.

****SIGH****

Well, the crew needs a break. Back in 15!

you know i'm a totally romantic girly when it comes too cheesy love-issues and that scene sounds like a dream to me. even though it may make you feel a tad sad to think about it and that it's over, be happy to have it in your movie. i've been with C for almost seven years now and i honestly can't recall a scene even close to that... *hugs*

A series of clichés coming your way (you've been warned):

Those scenes (the Eiffel tower one) are the ones that make this life worth living it even if we can't repeat them again: we did them once an that's what matters.

And even if we did not have one of those, there are certain scenes that may count as one, we have to look and we'll find them.

However, if we try to repeat them, they could go the "Empire Strikes Back" way or the "Jaws 2" way...

The fun in a relation (and in life) is finding those scenes...

So will the blog get to stay? I know I never comment, but that's because I'm usually reading on the Blackberry through the bloglines thing and it doesn't like it when I try to comment. Anyway...I hope it gets to stay, as I've really enjoyed your writing lately!

Kim - That was nice, but I don't think it would be the same coming from anyone. If it doesn't fit into C's personality, I'm sure he shows his romantic side in other ways. After all, there's a reason you guys are so strongly together, right? :)

Julio - True, most sequels suck. It would be nice if the cast would've still been around!

Nessa - The blog ain't going anywhere and thanks for still reading! I hope I don't bore you to death!
